Setting
Money Creek Campground sits under an old-growth forest canopy on the banks of the South Fork Skykomish River in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Several of the widely spaced, standard tent and RV sites sit directly at the river's edge. The area serves as a base for fishing, winter sports, and hiking nearby paths like the Barclay Creek Trail to Barclay Lake. On-site facilities are basic, featuring picnic tables, vault toilets, and drinking water.
Getting there: From Everett, Washington, take Highway 2 toward Monroe. From Monroe go east approximately 30 miles to campground sign. Turn south and travel a mile to campground.
