Civil War-era fort site (1856) on Port Townsend Bay with 3,960 feet of shoreline and 367 acres of wooded terrain. Six and a half miles of hiking trails weave through the property. The park preserves historic military structures including an explosives lab used during World War II for defusing enemy ordnance. Boating, fishing, crabbing, and picnicking available. Located two miles south of Port Townsend on the northeast Olympic Peninsula.
