Largest of the Triangle of Fire forts, Fort Flagler's 1,451 acres occupy Marrowstone Island's northern tip with views of Admiralty Inlet, Port Townsend, Navy installations, and Whidbey Island. The 1897–1899 Coast Artillery installation features historic buildings, hiking and biking trails, campsites, and beach access via boat launches. The Marrowstone Point Light adjoins the property.
