Falls Creek Campground sits on the forested shores of Lake Quinault inside Olympic National Forest, surrounded by dense Sitka spruce, Douglas fir, and rain forest vegetation. The facility offers 31 campsites for tents, trailers, and RVs up to 16 feet, including lake-view options, accessible camp spaces, and barrier-free flush toilets. Amenities feature drinking water, three shoreline picnic sites, and a 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps covered pavilion. Ten miles of hiking trails and multiple waterfalls are within walking distance, with boat access available on the lake.

Getting there: Take Highway 101 N toward Aberdeen. Take state highway 8, this turns into highway 12 which will get you to Aberdeen. From Aberdeen, WA drive Highway 101 north 41 miles to Quinault Lake South Shore Road (66 miles south of Forks.) Turn onto South Shore Road. Falls Creek Campground is about three miles from 101, on the Quinault Lake South Shore Road, just beyond the Pacific Ranger District, Quinault Office. Note: The turn off the South Shore Road into the campground is a very sharp left turn.
