Desert landscape on Potholes Reservoir in central Washington. Freshwater marshes and seasonal wildflowers support diverse waterfowl including sandhill cranes, raptors, and sage thrashers. Campsites (50-foot max) and cabins year-round; boat ramp with dock, trailer dump station, showers, fire pits, picnic shelters. Fishing (spring-fall fish cleaning), boating, kayaking, paddleboarding. Water levels fluctuate dramatically; no near-water camping.
