Constructed in 1909, Tucannon Guard Station is a two-story saltbox cabin set at 2,600 feet in the Tucannon Valley at the base of a forested hillside. The cabin sleeps up to six guests across two upstairs sleeping areas and a ground-floor spare room with a futon. On-site facilities include potable running water, electricity, propane heat, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a flush toilet and hot shower, an outdoor picnic table, and a fire pit. Located near the Tucannon River, the site offers direct access to scenic drives, fishing, and wilderness trailheads.
