Setting
Tucked into the 25 Mile Creek Drainage near Lake Chelan, this forested, drive-to campground offers seven single tent sites and two small group or RV sites. Every site is equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Barrier-free trails lead from the double campsites to a shared group shelter that houses four picnic tables, which is open to all campers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Getting there: From Chelan, travel south on Highway 97A for 3 miles. Turn right onto Southshore Road and go approximately 20 miles to Shady Pass Road #5900. Turn left up the Shady Pass Road #5900, go 3 miles to Slide Ridge Road #8410. Take a left onto the Slide Ridge Road #8410 and travel ¾ mile to Snowberry Bowl Campground.
