Lake Chelan State Park fronts a 50-mile-long freshwater lake bordered by tan hills and mountains, with sandy and gravel shoreline. The park offers campsites, accessible restrooms, showers, drinking water, fire pits, boat ramp, dock, and marina slips. Recreation includes hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and scuba diving. A historic interpretive monument at Earthquake Point marks where an 1872 landslide temporarily blocked the Columbia River, with seasonal kayak rentals and concessions available.
