Wenatchee Guard Station is a 1935 CCC log cabin set at 5,290 feet elevation on a high plateau in the Blue Mountains, overlooking Wenatchee Creek Canyon. The four-person, single-story cabin includes a kitchen, bedroom, four single beds, propane lights, propane heat, a cookstove, and a refrigerator/freezer. No running water is available; an outhouse sits nearby. Dogs and horses are permitted on site, though there is no corral or hitching post. Guests come for scenic drives, berry picking, horseback riding, hiking, and groomed winter cross-country ski and snowmobile trails.
