Cabin Camp 3 (Group Site By Reservation Only) in VA -- Campground & RV Camping

Constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, Cabin Camp 3 is a forested group facility listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The camp's C Unit features a linear layout designed for smaller gatherings, sleeping up to 76 visitors across several 10-person cabins. On-site structures include a dining hall and craft lodges equipped with brick fireplaces. Individual cabin rentals and small group bookings are available.

Getting there: GPS applications don't always provide accurate directions to the cabin camps so follow these directions instead. From North & South: Use Interstate 95. Take Exit 150. Go west on Joplin Road for 1/2 mile. Turn right on Park Entrance Road. From West: From the community of Independent Hill, use Joplin Road Highway 619 to Park Entrance Road, approximately 9 miles. Turn left on Park Entrance Road. Take Park Entrance Road for 3/4 mile. Turn left onto Scenic Drive. Cabin Camp 3 will be on the right after 1 mile
