Located in the Cumberland Mountains of southwest Virginia, this facility offers access to the 1,145-acre John W. Flannagan Reservoir and its 40 miles of shoreline. Campgrounds feature electric hookups, bathhouses, boat launch ramps, playgrounds, and picnic shelters with grills and horseshoe pits. The surrounding deep-water coves are stocked with bass, walleye, and trout, while nearby outdoor options include boating, canoeing, whitewater rafting, biking, and trips to Breaks Interstate Park.

Getting there: From Clintwood Main Street, turn on to Brush Creek Rd., State Rte 631 2.2 miles. Turn right onto State Rte 754 for 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Pound River Campground Rd.
