Middle Inlet Group Day Use Area sits on a grassy peninsula on the eastern shore of Pineview Reservoir, two miles from Huntsville. Surrounded by water and dotted with cottonwoods and pines, the site accommodates up to 75 people. Facilities include a large concrete-padded shelter, 12 picnic tables, grills, a Dutch oven cooking surface, serving tables, and vault toilets. No drinking water is provided on-site. The reservoir offers public boat ramps for water skiing, swimming, and fishing, with Causey Reservoir located 12 miles east.
