Anderson Cove Campground sits at 5,000 feet elevation along the shores of Pineview Reservoir, 10 miles east of Ogden. The facility features shade-tree lined open lawns, single and double family sites, and five group sites with large picnic shelters. On-site amenities include an internal boat ramp, a sandy swimming beach, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, vault toilets, drinking water, a dump station, and a small general store. The quiet coves of the reservoir provide direct access for boating, water skiing, swimming, and kayaking.

Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 123-site campground. The Pineview Reservoir shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Mount Ogden stands 4,629 ft above the site, 6.0 miles southwest. Night skies measure Bortle 4 -- a rural sky with a glow on the horizon. Most of them shaded. The nearest town, Wolf Creek, is 5.5 mi off.
