Sunglow Campground is situated in a red rock box canyon at 7,200 feet, two miles from Bicknell. Shaded sparsely by cottonwoods and junipers, the terrain features sagebrush and summer wildflowers. The campground offers two group sites for up to 20 people each, serviced by flush toilets, drinking water, and a paved access road leading to gravel spurs and a large trailer parking area. Nearby options include hiking, biking, and OHV trails along the Great Western Trail, wildlife viewing at Ke Bullock Waterfowl Management Area, and day trips to Capitol Reef National Park.
