This semi-shaded, grassy group site sits at 5,500 feet elevation along the Fremont River in Capitol Reef National Park's historic Fruita district. It features a sheltered picnic area, a large grassy tent lawn, a fire pit, an above-ground grill, potable water, flush toilets, and a utility sink, though it lacks electricity. Campers are surrounded by red rock cliffs and 3,100 historic fruit trees, with direct access to the Capitol Gorge and Goosenecks trails, petroglyph viewing along Highway 24, and the historic Gifford Homestead.
