Watchman Campground sits along the Virgin River near the south entrance of Zion National Park, directly framed by tall red and orange sandstone cliffs. The facility offers 30-amp electric loops for RVs or tents, non-electric drive-in loops, tent-only group sites with shaded picnic table pergolas, flush toilets, drinking water, and a dump station. Three hiking routes start at the site: the Watchman Trail, the Archaeology Trail, and the paved, dog-friendly Pa'rus Trail. The Zion Canyon Visitor Center, park shuttle system, and the town of Springdale sit within walking distance.
