Maple Lake Campground sits at an elevation of 5,800 feet in an open forest of white fir, pinyon pine, and Gambel oak. Sized best for tents and small campers, the site features 10 single campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. There is no potable water on site. Recreation centers on Maple Lake for canoeing, kayaking, floating, and swimming, along with trout fishing in the creek below. The Red Lake Trail leads into the neighboring Mount Nebo Wilderness directly from the upper sites.
