Maple Bench Campground sits at 5,800 feet on a high terrace overlooking the Nebo Loop Scenic Byway, ending at an edge that drops directly into the Peteetneet Creek canyon. Shaded by white fir, pinyon pine, and Gambel oak, the layout features 10 rustic sites best suited for tents and small rigs, equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. Visitors fish for trout in the creek below, paddle Maple Lake half a mile away, or take the Red Lake Trail into the adjacent Mount Nebo Wilderness.
