Split Mountain Group Campground in UT -- Campground & RV Camping in Utah

Split Mountain Group Campground sits on a bench along the Green River at 4,800 feet, surrounded by sagebrush and Fremont cottonwoods beneath Split Mountain. The facility features four group sites for up to 25 people each, equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings with grills. Seasonal drinking water and flush toilets are available from April to October, though there are no RV hookups or tank-filling services. Adjacent to the Split Mountain Boat Ramp, it offers direct access to river take-outs and sits near the Quarry Exhibit Hall.

Getting there: Split Mountain Campground is located approximately 12 miles (19 km) north of US Highway 40. Take Utah State Route 149 from Jensen, Utah.
