Green River Campground in UT -- Campground & RV Camping in Utah

Set among cottonwood trees and sagebrush along the Green River, Green River Campground sits at an elevation of 4,750 feet within Dinosaur National Monument. The campground features 80 sites for tents and RVs, each equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. Amenities include flush toilets and drinking water, though there are no hookups, dump stations, or showers, and RV tanks cannot be filled on site. Split Mountain is visible to the north, and the nearby Split Mountain Boat Ramp serves as a take-out point for river rafters. The Quarry Exhibit Hall, displaying 1,500 dinosaur fossils, is five miles away.

Getting there: Green River Campground is located approximately 12 miles (19 km) north of US Highway 40. Take Utah State Route 149 from Jensen, Utah.
