A well-travelled stretch -- travellers have camped along here. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off. Dutch Creek runs 1.0 mi off. Black Crook Peak stands 3,537 ft above the site, 7.8 miles southwest. The nearest town, Eagle Mountain, is 28 mi off.
