Setting
Ken's Lake Campground sits ten miles south of Moab at 5,085 feet elevation, set among sagebrush flats, red rock fins, and the La Sal Mountains. Built in 2000 beside a 1981 irrigation reservoir, the site features two loops. Loop A offers unshaded gravel sites suited for large RVs. Loop B has smaller, shaded sites among juniper and cottonwood trees. Facilities include gravel parking pads, picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and trash bins, though there are no hookups or drinking water. On-site access links to a gravel boat ramp for non-motorized craft, three miles of trails to Faux Falls, and the Steel Bender OHV route.
Getting there: From Moab, drive south on Highway 191 until you see signs for Ken's Lake, approximately 8 miles. Turn left off the highway and follow signs to the lake. The campground is just beyond the turn to the lake. Loop A is in the first campground loop and B is the second loop.
