Setting
Cottonwood Campground is a primitive facility located at 6,080 feet elevation in South Willow Canyon, southwest of Grantsville, Utah, within the Stansbury Range. Forested with oak, maple, and juniper, the grounds sit along Willow Creek, which offers trout fishing. Facilities consist of 1 single site, 1 double site, and vault restrooms; there is no drinking water system on-site. Across the road, the Stansbury Front Trail and Medina Flat Trail provide direct access into the Deseret Peak Wilderness.
Getting there: This campground is located 0.7 miles up South Willow Canyon from the Forest boundary. This is a gravel road.
