Campground details
Setting
Washington Lake Campground sits at 10,000 feet elevation along the shore of Washington Lake, just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. The site features paved roads and spurs, single and double campsites with lake views, and five group sites for up to 50 or 100 people. Amenities include picnic tables, campfire rings, grills, concrete pads, vault toilets, and trash collection. Washington Lake supports canoeing, kayaking, and trout fishing. The Crystal Lake Trail originates on site, providing direct foot access to the broader trail network of the Uinta Mountains.
Getting there: From Kamas, Utah, go east for 23.6 miles on UT-150 E to Forest Road 041. Watch for "Wash Lake" sign on the north side of the road. Go north on FR041 approximately a half-mile to the campground.
