Climbs 4,500 ft over 29.5 miles through 51 switchbacks, with sustained grades near 12% and pitches to 37%. Level ground alongside most of its length. Dead-end road with no mapped turnaround, so expect to back out or unhitch. Water crossings 7.8, 16.7, 27.8 and 27.8 miles in. Gates 23.3, 23.9, 24.4, 26.2 and 27.7 miles in.
Pitt and Page Hill stands 1,452 ft above the site, 1.3 miles northwest. A well-travelled stretch, with camps along here. Provo River runs 0.9 mi off.
