Setting
Shingle Creek Campground sits at an elevation of 7,400 feet in pine and aspen woods off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway in the Uinta Mountains. The grounds feature 21 single sites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, with vault toilets distributed across the property. Two ATV trails start directly within the campground, while the nearby Lower Provo River offers trout fishing. Campers can also access local mountain routes, including the North Fork and Shingle Creek hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails.
Getting there: In Kamas, UT, at the intersection of State Rt. 32 (Main St.) and State Rt. 150 (Center St.), take Rt. 150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway) east 9.6 miles to the campground sign. Turn right into the campground.
