Setting
Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground is a high-altitude site at 9,000 feet in the northeastern Uinta Mountains, located between Flaming Gorge and Evanston. Set in a timbered landscape overlooking the water, the campground offers seven single sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and a vault toilet. It functions as a launching point for boating and fishing on Hoop Lake, with nearby access to Beaver Meadow Reservoir and trails extending into the High Uintas Wilderness for hiking and horseback riding.
