Setting
Hayden Fork Campground sits at 8,800 feet in the Uinta Mountains, located 40 miles from Evanston just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Set along the Hayden Fork River among pine trees, aspens, and small beaver ponds, the site features nine single campsites equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. Visitors use the campground as a base for river fishing, as well as accessing nearby High Uinta Wilderness hiking trails, ATV tracks, and backpacking routes.
Getting there: From Evanston, WY, take WY-150 S for 22.5 miles. Continue onto UT-150 for 12.3 miles. Turn left onto Forest Rd 116. Bear right to stay on Forest Rd 116 and go 144 feet to the campground.
