Setting
Cobblerest Campground sits at an elevation of 8,500 feet along the Lower Provo River on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway in the Uinta Mountains. The site is shaded by pine, fir, aspen, and riverbank willows. It features a paved layout with 18 single campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, plus vault restrooms. Visitors come to fish for trout in the adjacent river, ride off-road vehicle routes, or hike, bike, and ride horses on nearby paths such as the North Fork and Shingle Creek Trails.
Getting there: In Kamas, UT, at the intersection of State Rt. 32 (Main St.) and State Rt. 150 (Center St.), take Rt. 150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway) east 19.3 miles to the campground sign. Turn right into the campground.
