Christmas Meadows Campground rests on a knoll overlooking Christmas Meadows and Stillwater Fork at an elevation of 8,800 feet in the Uinta Mountains. Located 36 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, the facility offers dirt-surfaced single-family sites set among lodgepole pine and aspen. Basic amenities include picnic tables, campfire rings, vault toilets, drinking water, trash collection, and firewood for purchase. Stillwater Fork flows right outside the campground for cutthroat and brook trout fly-fishing, while the Christmas Meadows Trailhead provides direct hiking and horseback access.

Getting there: From Evanston, Wyoming, take Highway 150 south for 32 miles. Turn east on Christmas Meadows Road and travel 4 miles to the end of the road and the campground.
