Setting
China Meadows Trailhead Campground sits at 10,000 feet on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains near China Lake. The timbered grounds attract visitors focused on fishing, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and off-road vehicle travel into the surrounding backcountry lakes and canyons.
Getting there: Take Wyoming State Highway 410 South out of Mountain View about 8 miles. Where the highway makes a sharp right turn to the west, go straight on to Uinta County Road 283 (gravel) and continue to Forest Service Road 072.
