Setting
Bridger Lake Campground sits at 9,400 feet on the northern slopes of the Uinta Mountains, set in a thin stand of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, and aspen. The layout offers single and double sites—including two paved, accessible options—equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings. Facilities include vault toilets, drinking water, trash service, and an on-site camp host. A small boat ramp grants access to Bridger Lake for canoeing, kayaking, and trout fishing. Nearby trails accommodate hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and ATVs, with China Meadows Trailhead close by.
Getting there: From Mountain View, Wyoming, take Highway 410 south for 7 miles, then County Road 283 for 8.2 miles. Turn onto Forest Road 072 and travel 7.9 miles to Forest Road 126. Turn onto FR 126 for a short distance to the campground.
