Setting
Bear River Campground sits at an elevation of 8,400 feet along the Bear River, 27 miles south of Evanston off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Set within a light forest of pine and aspen trees, this small facility contains 4 single campsites. Each site is equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring. Vault toilets are located on site for camper use, and the adjacent river provides direct access for stream fishing. Local trailheads within five miles offer options for hiking, mountain biking, and backpacking into the surrounding Uinta Mountains.
