Located at 9,000 feet in central Utah, Tasha Equestrian Campground is set in a mixed forest of aspen, spruce, and pine four miles north of Fish Lake. Built specifically for campers traveling with horses, the facility includes corrals, a staging area, hitching racks, and direct trail access. Sites range from single-family spots to a group area with a picnic shelter, supported by flush toilets and drinking water over gravel roads. Johnson Valley Reservoir is a half-mile away for boating and fishing, while Fish Lake is less than 10 minutes south.

Road difficulty 1 of 5 -- an easy drive in. Recorded as maintained for passenger-car comfort, gravel, pitching to 10%. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.

Mount Marvine stands 2,408 ft above the site, 3.2 miles north. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.2 miles off, a 10-site campground. Most of them shaded. A pond lies 0.6 mi off. The nearest town, Salina, is 24 mi off.

September normals 3565°F, 1.7″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
