Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~120 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 6 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Cattle guards 5.6 and 12.7 miles in.
A well-travelled stretch -- travellers have camped along here. Private here -- the nearest through road is 1.3 miles off. Signal Peak stands 4,337 ft above the site, 7.8 miles southeast. The nearest town, Monroe, is 20 mi off.
