Paiute Campground sits at an elevation of 8,800 feet on a sagebrush hillside in the Fishlake National Forest, overlooking a valley of aspen, pine, and cottonwood trees. Located off Highway 25 adjacent to Johnson Valley Reservoir, the site offers 48 paved, pull-through single-family campsites. Seasonal drinking water and pit toilets are provided on-site. Visitors can fish for trout in the nearby reservoir, launch boats, or hike the 5-mile Pelican Canyon Trail to Fish Lake Hightop.
