Willow Lake Campground sits at 9,640 feet in an alpine basin on the Wasatch Plateau, shaded by spruce, fir, and aspen. The facility provides ten single-family campsites with gravel parking spurs, picnic tables, campfire rings, and vault toilets. There is no drinking water or trash service. A footpath leads directly from the campground to the water, connecting to a loop trail around the lake with four stream crossings and two bridges. The campground acts as a staging point for the 350-mile Arapeen OHV Trail System.

Getting there: From Ferron Utah Willow Lake is located approximately 25 miles up Ferron Canyon, on Forest Road 022. From Mayfield Utah Willow Lake is located approximately 27 miles from Mayfield. Head East from up Forest Road 022, turn left on Skyline Drive at 12 Mile Campground then following signage towards Ferron Reservior. Willow Lake is located approximately 4 miles east of Ferron Reservior.
