Twelve Mile Flat Campground sits at an elevation of 10,120 feet near the top of the Wasatch Plateau, nestled in an open meadow surrounded by mature spruce and pine trees. The facility provides single-family campsites, two group sites accommodating up to 50 people each, and vault toilets, with gravel roads and parking spurs and no garbage service. Located just below the ridge west of Skyline Drive, the area offers extensive ATV trails for all skill levels. Over the ridge, nearby Ferron Reservoir provides opportunities for canoeing and fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout.
