Palisade State Park wraps a desert canyon reservoir rich for fishing and paddling. Campground sites include both RV and tent options with electrical hookups at premium locations; the park features an 18-hole championship golf course with restaurant service, a visitor center with extended summer hours, and access to hiking trails and Six-Mile Canyon for off-highway vehicle riding. The surrounding terrain blends rock canyon walls with desert vegetation.
