Setting
Set at 8,500 feet in an open meadow bordered by aspen and spruce trees, this high-mountain campground sits near Miller Flat Reservoir. It includes three double family sites and a group cooking area equipped with picnic tables, a fire ring, a dutch oven fire pan, utility tables, and a shared vault toilet located 50 feet away. There is no electricity, drinking water, sewer, or garbage service on-site. Visitors can fish or canoe at nearby reservoirs, hike the Left Fork of Huntington National Recreation Trail 1.5 miles north, or access the 370-mile Arapeen OHV Trail System along Miller Flat Road.
Getting there: From Fairview, Utah, proceed east on Utah Highway 31 for approximately 18 miles to the Miller Flat Road (Forest Road # 0014). Turn south on this road and proceed through the Lake Canyon Recreation Area, past Miller Flat Reservoir to Forest Road # 3328. Turning left (east) on this road provides entrance to the campground.
