Lake Canyon Recreation Area sits at 9,000 feet on the Wasatch Plateau between Huntington and Cleveland reservoirs. The site provides primitive camping options, including group areas accommodating 20 to 150 people and 50 dispersed single-family sites set among aspen, pine, and open meadows. On-site facilities are limited to vault toilets; there is no drinking water, electricity, or trash service. The area functions as a hub for the Lake Canyon OHV Trail System, featuring multiple trail loops alongside non-motorized access for canoeing and trout fishing on the adjacent reservoirs.
