All 3.7 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Dirt the whole way in (3.7 miles). Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~110 ft on the downhill side. Level ground alongside most of its length. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch.
A well-travelled stretch -- travellers have camped along here. Private here -- the nearest through road is 1.6 miles off. San Juan River runs 0.4 mi off. Cedar Point stands 1,000 ft above the site, 1.9 miles north. The nearest town, Kayenta, is 37 mi off.
