Climbs 1,700 ft over 13.1 miles -- sustained grades near 14%, with pitches to 21%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~130 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 34 switchbacks.

Blue Notch Canyon runs 0.2 mi off. Copper Point stands 1,529 ft above the site, 2.8 miles northeast. Travellers have camped along here. The nearest town, Blanding, is 47 mi off.
