Spruces Campground sits at 7,500 feet in Big Cottonwood Canyon among spruce and aspen trees, running along Big Cottonwood Creek. The facility features paved roads, paved parking spurs, and concrete walkways servicing single, double, and group sites. Amenities include picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, flush toilets, drinking water, and firewood for purchase. On-site recreation features a baseball field, a volleyball court, and horseshoe pits. Fly-fishing is popular on the creek, and nearby canyon trails provide access to hiking, biking, and rock climbing.
