Built in 1928, Podunk Guard Station sits in a mountain valley along the East Fork Sevier River in Dixie National Forest, 8.5 miles south of Tropic Reservoir. The historic two-room cabin sleeps six using two twin bunk beds and a double futon. Kitchen amenities include a propane cooktop and oven, table, chairs, a wood heating stove, and a seasonal sink with running water; campers bring their own cookware and bedding. A vault toilet, picnic table, and fire ring sit outside. The cabin offers direct access to the Paunsaugunt, Fremont, and Great Western OHV trail systems.
