Setting
Navajo Lake Campground sits on the south shore of Navajo Lake, offering direct water access and a primitive dirt boat launch for small vessels. The facility includes 15 single sites, one double site, and 11 walk-in tent sites, each equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. Amenities feature drinking water spigots, flush toilets, and an accessible vault toilet. The 11-mile Navajo Lake Loop trail connects directly to camp, while the 32-mile Virgin River Rim Trail passes nearby. The lake provides canoeing, kayaking, and shore fishing along its historic dike.
Getting there: Go east from Cedar City on Scenic Byway SR 14, 25 miles to the Navajo Lake road turnoff to the south. Follow the Navajo Lake road 5 miles to Navajo Lake campground.
