Kodachrome Basin's signature feature is 67 striking monolithic stone spires rising from colorful sandstone formations, representing 180 million years of geological layers. Named after a 1948 National Geographic expedition, the park features three campgrounds (Arch, Basin, and Bryce View), plus Santa Fe-style and adobe huts for alternative lodging. On-site amenities include visitor center, laundromat, and food services. Recreation spans a 3D archery course with animal targets, disc golf, and geocaching. The dramatic red-rock landscape offers unique photography and geological exploration.
