Setting
Set beneath steep sandstone canyon walls off Kane Creek Road, this group campsite features picnic tables, a fire ring with a grate, and a vault toilet. Access requires descending a steep, tight dirt switchback road, making the site unsuitable for vehicles over 22 feet or long trailers. The Hunter Canyon Trail originates at the site, following a small spring-fed creek for two miles past lush vegetation. No drinking water, hookups, or dump stations are available on site.
Getting there: From Moab, drive 8 miles on the Kane Creek Road. The group site is on the right hand side of the road.
