Setting
Hittle Bottom Campground sits along the banks of the Colorado River off Highway 128, offering views of Fisher Towers and Professor Valley. The facility includes a boat ramp for river trips and a dedicated group site equipped with fire grates, picnic tables, vault toilets, and a shade shelter. There are no water taps, electric hookups, or dump stations on site. Located 45 minutes from Moab, the grounds provide convenient access to local rock climbing, four-wheel-drive routes, mountain biking trails, and both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
Getting there: From Moab, drive north to the junction with Highway 128. Drive 23 miles on highway 128 to the entrance to Hittle Bottom campground. The group site is located on the north end of the campground, just past the main entrance.
