Setting
Big Bend Group Sites sit along State Route 128 about 30 minutes from Moab, surrounded by red rock canyon walls. Sites A and B are located along the Colorado River under shade-providing cottonwood trees near a small river beach. Site C sits across the highway in a side canyon. Facilities include shade shelters, picnic tables, fire rings with grates, vault toilets, and trash collection. Drinking water, electric hookups, and dump stations are not available, and parking for RVs and trailers is limited on-site.
Getting there: From Moab, drive north to the junction with Highway 128. Turn right and travel 8 miles along the river road. Group sites A and B are in the main campground, site C is up the dirt road directly across from the main campground.
